Sustainability

We don’t sell sustainability — we sell crane time, truckloads, and silo-hours. But the way we run the business affects emissions, fuel consumption, and the buildout pace of the energy transition, and our customers are increasingly required to report on those things. Here’s the honest version.

Where we contribute most

Renewable energy is one of our largest service categories. We set wind turbine nacelles and rotors, transport blades and tower sections, and place foundations across the central United States. The faster and safer those projects close, the sooner the megawatts come online. Doing that work well is our contribution.

How we run the operation

• ISO 14001:2015 certified environmental management system, audited annually.
• Modern fleet — newer engines burn less fuel per ton-mile and meet current EPA emissions standards.
• Telematics across the fleet for route optimization, idle reduction, and load-factor improvement.
• Equipment right-sizing — we run the smallest crane and the lightest trailer that will safely do the job. Oversize equipment for an undersize load is wasted fuel.
• Spill response and containment trained and equipped on every crew.
• Recycling and waste segregation at every yard.

What we don’t do

• We don’t claim carbon-neutral operations we can’t substantiate.
• We don’t trade offsets to make a marketing claim look better.
• We don’t pretend a heavy haul truck is a low-impact vehicle. It isn’t. We just run the cleanest, best-maintained ones we can buy.
