Travel and setup considerations
Larger AT cranes ship in multiple loads:
- Carrier (the crane chassis itself, sometimes with main boom)
- Counterweights (often the largest portion of the pieces)
- Boom and jib sections (for cranes shipped with disassembled boom)
- Outrigger pads, mats, and rigging
Mobilization for 500+ ton AT cranes typically runs 3–7 days door-to-door including permits.
