Crane Service
Crane Rental
Operated and bare-rental cranes from 50 to 1,200 tons, mobilized from 14 yards across the central U.S.
Crane rental, the way it should work
You shouldn’t have to know whether you need a 90-ton rough-terrain or a 130-ton all-terrain to call a crane company. Tell us:
- What you’re lifting — weight, dimensions, attachment points
- Where it’s going — radius from setup, lift height, ground conditions
- When you need it — date and shift window
- Site constraints — overhead obstructions, access width, soil conditions
We’ll spec the right crane, the rigging, and the crew, and deliver a written quote. If a lift plan is required, we produce that in-house.
What you get
- NCCCO-certified operator for operated rentals
- Daily inspections logged per ASME B30.5
- Modern fleet — all units actively maintained
- Engineered lift plans for critical and complex picks
- Ground-bearing analysis when soil conditions warrant
- Insurance and safety documentation routed through ISN, PEC Premier, or Avetta
Equipment by category
- All-terrain cranes (50–1,200 ton) — the workhorse for most industrial picks
- Crawler cranes (100–600 ton) — long-duration sites and heavy lattice work
- Rough-terrain cranes (30–100 ton) — pad work, oilfield, restricted access
- Compact mobile cranes — boom trucks, city-class, residential

Frequently asked questions
What sizes of cranes does Northwest Crane Service rent?
We rent compact mobile cranes (boom trucks and city-class), rough terrain cranes (30–100 ton), all-terrain cranes (50–1,200 ton), and crawler cranes (100–600 ton). Capacity selection depends on pick weight, radius, and ground conditions.
Do you provide an operator with the rental?
Operated rental includes a NCCCO-certified operator, a signal person where required, and on-site supervision. Bare rental delivers the crane only. Most industrial work runs operated; some long-duration construction work runs bare with the customer's qualified operator.
What's included in operated crane rental?
Operator labor, crane delivery and setup, fuel, daily inspections, and standard rigging accessories. Permits, escorts, road bans, weekend/overtime hours, and specialty rigging are quoted separately.
How is crane rental priced?
Operated rental is priced by hour, day, week, or month with a minimum, plus mobilization. Bare rental is priced by week or month. Final pricing depends on capacity, configuration (boom, jib, counterweight), location, and schedule.
How quickly can you mobilize a crane?
Same-day in the central U.S. corridor for available units; 24–48 hours nationwide depending on permits and route. Call 405-373-2979 for current availability.
