Frequently asked questions

What does Northwest Logistics haul?

Industrial dry bulk materials transported pneumatically — frac sand, cement, fly ash, lime, limestone, and similar powders and granular materials. We do not haul liquids, refrigerated cargo, or general freight.

What is pneumatic bulk hauling?

Pneumatic hauling uses air pressure to load and unload dry bulk material into a sealed pneumatic trailer. The trailer is pressurized at unload, and the material is blown through a hose into the destination silo, hopper, or storage. It's the standard method for moving cement, frac sand, fly ash, and similar dry bulk.

Do you provide silo storage?

Yes — temporary silo storage at customer job sites. We deliver the silos, place them, and pick them up when the job is finished. Common for frac operations, large concrete pours, and remediation work. See Temporary Silo Storage.

What's transloading?

Transloading converts material between transport modes — typically rail-to-truck for bulk materials. We operate transload facilities for unloading rail cars and pneumatically loading trucks for last-mile delivery. See Transloading.

What's your service area?

Headquartered in Oklahoma with yards in Lamesa, Monahans, and San Angelo, Texas. We focus on the West/South Texas oilfield corridor and Oklahoma, with capability to deploy nationwide for project work.
